I'm not really sure because from the information I have seen, I don't really think they were inlove (mc's mom and the emperor) since mc's mom wants to die and like shes very distant and also I saw an info where someone said that they made a deal so theres big possibility that they weren't inlove plus emperors tends to have lots of concubines or wife ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Up until now i just dont get the hype. Yes is good but honestly pretty mid. Yall gonna hate me saying this lol.
But this story is pretty much different from the others, especially the character personality. We all seen so much step mom literally hating innocent child for no reason, but in this story seline just so sweet, Thats why i feel even more bad to her, it'll be better if she's bad so i can hate her but she didnt, she's a good mom— i pity her lol.
I dont read the novel nor the spoilers so idk if the emperor is in love with mc mom or not, i justt feel bad for seline, i hope she have other side kick as well lmaoo (but ofc it wont happend)
