Yk I wouldn’t say your translation were far off. I often check myself & it’s up to par with the official in terms of context. There is a clear difference in wording which honestly isn’t much to worry about since most official sites often word things differently (in a good or bad way) from proper fan translation

sometimes i prefer unofficial translations that capture the nuance even if the syntax sounds a bit odd in english, rather than the official translations that completely change the whole sentence to "interpret" it, or the bane of my existence- localisation.

In that one scene where the top ran out of the hospital and was standing in the staircase I actually prefered your translation of him sniffling, which made the whole scene more touching, emotional and heartwrenching. While the official translation only made him huff a lot - no emotions whatsoever... That kinda disappointed me. But now I'm wondering what was actually written in the raws...

Usually the raws use sound effects of someone panting, huffing or sniffling. It probably was an onomatopoeia of one of those things, but I interpreted it as the top sniffing cuz it would've made more sense w the situation
