And ppl still hope for a redemption arc like is there any hope left for this bitch to even redeem himself? He is a rapist, abuser and has anger management issues and if he still ends up with doc despite all these issues he has then I question the author's sanity
Exactly,the author needs help if they feel it's okay for these kind of characters to be able to have a redemption arc and have a happily ever after. Coz they need to realise that a lots of people end up idealising characters like this loser and behave like them irl. Artists and writers etc need to have a good moral compass when they realise how influential their works become and writing stuff like this and then making abusers like jaekyung have a good life and good ending can make people feel like they can be absolute assholes and have a good life irl too. And when author doesnt seem to have those kind of values and ethics irl then we as readers need to shoulder that responsibility and condemn these kind of works. I hope that we can all condemn this story and author (to prevent them from writing such works in future) if jaekyung doesn't get left behind and lives his life regretting his actions. Coz there is no redemption arc that will ever suffice for this rapist abuser mental asshole excuse of shit called jaekyung. Yuck
