I was thinking along the same line. His thoughts have been so sparse even until now, that we know almost nothing about him. The only way he can somewhat be ‘redeemed’ is if his redemption arc is longer than his bullying arc.
this manhwa is just nonstop gratuitous rape with occasional plot sprinkled in. you are right, nearly 40 chapters in and the only difference between my perception of jk from ch 1 to now is that i know he's an even bigger of a pos than we thought initially.
Maybe it's bc we don't have much access to Jaekyung's thoughts but he's just seems like a one dimensional jerk, without much to redeem himself. Ik we'll have a redemption or chasing phase but he's been so awful idk how the author will make it enough. It's really bothering me how we don't know much at all about Jaekyung, almost 40 ch but we know almost the same that at the start, not even his background or motivations
