I think not, the new guy probably will be a great support character for the MC for sure. I couldnt help to remember they mention they needed special alarms and things for emergencies like if the building is on fire and they need to evacuate. And since ML is gonna leave soon. I am VERY sure the neighbor is gonna be that guy that checks on her well being, helps her and things. Or even be the one that helps MC when ML is gone like if an intruder comes. And maybe even keep that childhood friend guy that has a crush on MC in check.
I don’t think he will succeed but I do think he will try based on the advice his friends are giving him. I wonder if the author will address within the story just how bad the advice those friends are giving him is. They don’t mean it but they’re basically setting him up and it’s going to hurt so much if he listens to them.
They’re basically encouraging him to be an orbiter. He could potentially end up wasting years of his life waiting on something that will never happen. The fact they’re even saying not even marriage should discourage him is so horrible. He could end up wasting his youth.
I dont think liking a girl or guy in a relationship is wrong as long as you don't break up that relationship. It is hard for Oushi to move on so quickly so i hope people are nice to him. I really don't think he will break them up but the new guy looks more like trouble if anything.
