Philip Gordon isn’t Ash biological dad. Yes Philip did have feelings for Ash’s mom but at that time Sophia (Ash’ mom) was already in love with Shaun (Ash’s biological dad). But due to Ash’s blue eyes and the painting that Gordon gave Sophia to express his love for her, Shaun got jealous and assumed that Sophia cheated on him with Gordon (she didn’t have any affair with Gordon, Shaun’s just a shitty person). Gordon after that married another person and now he has his own son (if you remember when Ash and Lyle went to the gallery in season 1 and Ash bought a painting there, that one was painted by Gordon’ son)
