i think with the drinking and all that, it’s going to take a controlling approach / abusive route or relationship if that makes sense
because it’s invasive and controlling? i would MAYBE understand if it was a one time thing, but from the looks of it, it’s seems like he’s doing it constantly. he doesn’t even know how long he’s been doing it. it’s CREEPY. it’s not like xiao has even done anything to trigger this suspicion or anxiety.
it’s a weird and creepy invasion of privacy. it’s different for you and your husband because you are aware that he has access to your phone, whereas xiaos ex has been snooping through his phone by using his thumbprint while he sleeps.
The difference here is that he's doing it secretly behind his back. It would have been different if they were up front with each other and established this being okay beforehand, but they didn't.

Oh no he looked through your phone because it’s very natural for human being to worried from time to time and don’t want to bother their partner with these stupid worries so looks at the phone just to ground themselves again. Why is that even a big deal. My husband’s face is literally on my lock thing. So my face and his can both unlock my phone. He never goes through it tho, but I 100% don’t mind. If he has doubts then baby, go ahead and ground yourself again. I literally do NOT understand why that was such a big deal.
