I’m at ch 54 and I actually don’t think she’s playing around with their feelings, no one ever asked to be exclusive or let this boundary be known and all of them are aware of the other to a certain extent, whenever she is with them and what she does with them just happens, they go with the flow in that situation, I don’t think she’s being manipulative or intentional in any sense.

Why does everyone feel it’s ok if she plays around with these men’s emotions and bodies just because she’s been abused and imprisoned? Just because you’ve had a shitty life doesn’t give the right to inflict harm and emotionally abuse others? I don’t get it. If it ends up as polyamory and each one knows the other exists and is ok with it then that’s great! I support it, if not and she’s just holding their feelings for her as hostage to make them accept that she can do whatever she wants with whoever she wants then she is cruel. If it is a monogamy ending I want to know who the ml is so my mind can rest. Ch 37 is the first L for me in this story, FL and childhood friend had the best love which could 100% qualify as end game. He loves her for her, not the idea of her in his head (unlike the other two), he knew her and loved her and he wrote to her all these years. Why did the authors make him a dunce randomly???? There’s no way he wouldn’t know how to drink tea??? I mean commoners would 100% know and he’s a margrave!! An accomplished one too so he has to have some wealth! She kinda just looks down on him because why? Why are they playing into him not being sophisticated or some shit? It just doesn’t fit his character from what we know. And ugh the misunderstandings at the end. Urghhhhhhhh. Also him telling her he has a fake fiancé, ARGH. It was such a lovely connection and the authors knew they had to dilute it so they pulled this shit.
