wasn't hyunwoo's backstory the one where he got into a car accident which killed his mom? and he "turned trauma into passion" as he explained to youngwon.
i think it explained his character well, about how he doesn't really get too hung up about the past and instead uses it to fuel his ambition and drive himself forward.
it was the perfect contrast to youngwon who was too haunted by his past which really affected his present self negatively, especially in the love and relationship department.
and as they've both said before, they were really polar opposites, not just in types, but also in personality.
but overall, i agree with you, 10/10
THIS STORY WAS TOO SHORTTT, AT LEAST LET US HAVE SOME EXTRAS PLEASE AUTHOR-NIMMM (/TДT)/

THIS STORY WAS SO SHORT AAAAAAAAAARGH
I can't believe we were left off with no extras, no sidestories and not even a author's note???? TTTTTT
I really liked this BL so much. The enemies to lovers trope is a chef's kiss.
Youngwon's semi character development was very nice and his relationship with Hyun-woo was so cute yet sheet-gripping amazing. The only downside is that I wished the writer gave Hyun-woo some kind of backstory or lore so that we get to know him better, tbh in the story, we only got to see Youngwon really struggle whilst Hyun-woo was just on the sidelines "there" for him. Literally a knight in shining white armor I guess. He was "perfect" to say the least, maybe we could've gotten a glimpse into Hyun-woo's past relationships and all that, but I guess we didn't, and that's a shame. The whole Heesung drama was OK, I mean, he appeared, did some crap, got what was deserved for him then left and that was about it. Wasn't really a big threat, so yeah.
Overall, I rate this story a 9/10, simply for the art and the well done development of the couple's relationship.
