I don’t think the old guy could hold a hammer considering his hands were nailed down to his chair with rusty nails… that being said… I don’t think anyone will try to take the crocodile or nanmu because he was so damn good at his job. Everyone knows the two as cold blooded killers and together? I don’t think anyone has the balls to compete with them.

My comment was a joke. It was a reference to the movie Scream and the list of do's and dont's. But the part about not dropping the weapon was mine. Because the victims always drop their weapons and run after they defend themselves with them.

I haven’t watched scream so I don’t get the reference. Victims in movies do drop the weapon but they weren’t the victims here. They were the assailants and therefore shouldn’t be worried. Also they are gangsters. They have fists and can use them well. They are never truly unable to defend themselves unless they are drugged up. If they were the weapons in this case, your comment would make more sense but they dropped the weapon simply because it was no longer necessary. Just like you set down your toothbrush once it’s not in use. It’s a tool and once its purpose is fulfilled, it’s disregarded. Gangsters view weapons as tools and not as an effective defence. The defence is quite literally their own body and abilities unless they are so new and low level that they can’t survive a beating. Nanmu is high ranking and our baby boy is the infamous crocodile - a well known gangster serial killer/ almost assassin. They don’t NEED the weapons but rather use weapons cause they find it more convenient. Croc was choosing which one would be more fun to torture with. He’s not worried about the old guy so realistically, neither should any of us. He’s been doing this a long time and so has nanmu. If they want someone dead, that person is dead. Then there’s no one left to defend themselves against so they don’t care.
