I feel bad because both sides are reasonable, I understand why he was upset because he was abandoned too and also struggled raising his baby who the mother abandoned but at the same time, it was two different time periods. Raising a baby during time after war that left everyone struggling, he did the right thing by giving her up for a better life when he knew he couldn’t support her. He had no other choice than to move on with life because it wasn’t like he could fly to America and he like “LOL I actually want her back.. we got money now so…” she was already adopted. So I understand.
yeah, it was a very tough decision on grampa’s part. im dying to know what the letter said, and if the daughter ended up understanding his reasons? sometimes its very difficult, bc even if u know that u’ll have a better life elsewhere, u still wanna stay with those whom u love. the daughter crying for her dad and him just having to run hit me so hard. this is a wonderful webtoon :’)
grampa’s story made me tear up… its so sad to see children abandoned and then their parents living as if they never existed. he regrets it now, and i know he had his reasons for it, but MC’s reaction was just too real. he has a daughter now too and would never leave her for anything, but it’s a sad thing to think about. and then i see little bebe’s two strands and im happy again, she’s so lovely :’)
