sorry this manga is kinda stupid NOT BECAUSE I THINK HES CHEATING because he's literally not, he never actually agreed to date his boss, BUT THE MISUNDERSTANDING IS SO UNREALISTIC AND THE CHARACTERS ARE TOO. like its so unrealistic that he would ask to "stay friends" after he proposed, because they were already dating, and it was just said so that u would think he's nor committed. realistically he probably would've said that he's not ready yet or he feels he's not good enough, because no one would actually say that. like he literally got up and got his clothes on to leave too, thats enough time to clear it up and fix ur words. PLUS the boss is like... he feels like he's just a placeholder character to create more conflict and not like his own character, like he doesn't have a definite personality trait or character outside of liking the mc with makes the character super shallow, plus these types of characters always seem to be psychics???? like he looks at a text message that says "i cant go" and he's like "oh then he's probably in that motel 5.7 miles away having sex with that guy.........." LIKE HES JUST ASSUMING THINGS UNREALISTICALLY??? he like actually doesn't even have a thought process outside of liking the mc because it it was anyone else they probably would've thought that the mc rejected them, not chose their ex over them??? like the only news he has heard about the guy so far is that they used to date and they broke up. like thats it. and now suddenly he's making all of these assumptions about how the mc chose the guy over him?? can he tell the future? can he tell me the winning lottery numbers? i know I'm overanalyzing it because its just a 6 chapter manga but like idk it kinda deserves its ratings
