I think he was framed by the duke that he like stole or something and the dad couldn't think straight cause he was hearing rumors that ecklen and his daughter were together. Cause the duke said he did a lot to "secure" a good wife. But I have a strong feeling that our female lead is ecklens daughter.
It can't be. What happens to the duke and her brother if she's the daughter of ecklen? I would guess that ecklen mightve liked jacequeline back then that's why he is soft to the female lead. The explanation of their story was quite vague ╥﹏╥ im overthinking everything.
Yea but I think when they talked about how their eyes are similar was a bit or foreshadowing. But I could be wrong. I just think it’s a good way for her to get out of dying if they blame the duke for treason
I dont understand the story of ecklen and jacqueline and what mistake did the grandpa do? Did he accuse ecklen of having another woman while being with jacqueline? Or is there rumours about the two that the grandpa just didnt like? Can anyone explain? ╥﹏╥
