I'll "Bottom just for you" is the twisted cousin to the "gay for you" trope. Its very weird to read, but unfortunately not unusual. The picxa delivery man and the golden palace does something similar but its more subtle. Wish they would just write vers characters in this situation. Or they don't have sex until their both on the same page about it.

Small nuances like this yanks me back to reality that even though bl has progressed so much in terms of storyline and couple dynamics, there’s still room for a lot more improvement.
Lacking nuance is a good way to describe most BL. Some fantasy or suspense of disbelief is fine but these authors are up in space with a lot of these plots. And they need to be a little more realistic/conscious of what they're doing. It doesn't help that most authors are cis het women in concervative countries in the east. I imagine their sources of Queerness to be porn, or other BL/novels with very little real life input to their characterisations.
yep he said it himself. in actuality, he is not! and I don't mean that because of school and his job etc. I don't think he's mentally or emotionally in the best place to be dating right now.
