The next two arcs will be better! If you have the patience to go forward after the tragedy, you should give it a shot!
ITRG is divided in three arcs, book 1 where it all went wrong, book 2 OG Aeroc’s regression, book 3 OG Klopp’s regression
Both OG characters will never meet again, they will meet the same partner without the memories of world 1!
In Aeroc’s regression, it will be told in Klopp’s POV. You’ll get to understand in this arc. Why OG klopp became very cruel to OG aelock…
In this world, Klopp has no memories of the first world, instead he dreams of it. He dreams of himself being an old man who is all alone looking at a cottage longingly, calling for (Aeroc).
He again falls in love with Aeroc. But was again in denial, why he started a relationship with Rafiel, and the eventual realization of his attraction to Aeroc. Aeroc will be the one avoiding Klopp. It’s a bittersweet arc…
In Klopp’s regression, it will be told in Aeroc’s regression. Unlike book 1. Aeroc does not fall in love with Klopp, he becomes scared of him instead. Klopp who slowly went insane in book 1, after Aeroc’s death, found himself thinking that he’s in hell, so he assaults Aeroc telling him “How dare you leave me alone in that hell!” And so on…
Realizing this second chance, OG klopp will pursue this version of Aeroc, the arrogant noble, he despises… only to learn that Aeroc is not the cold-blooded noble he assumed to be. Aeroc is actually cute, funny and kind…
Hope you give it a chance!

I haven’t read the novel so I really can’t relate to the others saying that it got better eventually. But based on this manhwa I just finished reading just now, I find this manhwa more disturbing than all the other fucked up manhwas I’ve read (i.e. Missing Love: A Married Man, Killing Stalking etc.)

It’s really disturbing, because it’s basically two people destroying each other. It’s like Klopp said creating your own hell. It was revenge that went too far.
It will make sense in season 2, Klopp’s so-called revenge it back-fired on him, it unknowingly created an imprint between them. It’s the reason why is so cruel especially in the later parts of volume 1. It magnifies all the negative emotions inside Klopp, guilt, anger… and so on… creating this unhealthy obsession. Since they weren’t able to heal, and limited contact the imprint was unsatisfied, it affects Alpha’s more. It’s a dark and twisted story.
The second arc will only be more happy because Aeroc will be more loved in that arc, he’ll get the healing he needs… it didn’t make the trauma go away, but Aeroc had his Klopp be his support.
In Klopp’s regression. He became much honest and pursued Aelock. He spent decades in a hell without aelock. So he made aelock his goal. For someone who claim he hates Aelock, he was so obsessed with him, that he read all the books Aelock loved, and every bit that mattered to aelock… just to see into og Aelock’s mind. It didn’t really end after Aelock died.
And when Klopp learns more about the unbroken aelock…it broke him, realizing he destroyed something so beautiful. It’s not a happy story, but it’s a good story…
I really hope people give this a chance.

Yea I’m actually giving it a chance. I’m currently reading the novel. This messed up manhwa ironically lived in my mind rent-free since I started it, so I decided to give the novel a try.
I have to say, so far the novel cleared up a couple of things for me. In the manhwa, we dont really get an in depth perspective of what’s going on. For example, in the manhwa we just see pregnant Aelock waddling around the cabin, his internal monologue in the manhwa does not do justice compared to the novel.
Still triggered by Klopp tho. Actually, also Aelock. IF BOTH OF THEM COULD HAVE JUST SAT DOWN AND TALKED. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Anyway, thanks for the enlightenment. Honestly, if it weren’t for you and your replies I saw in several threads, I really would not have batted an eye and would have dropped this story. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

I actually dropped this before, but a friend convinced me to continue it and then I saw the novel… and it was damn too good to drop. They removed a lot of stuff in the manhwa!
Glad I was able to convince you! I actually enjoyed it, in a sense that it was different kind of storytelling and how each arc echoed with one another. It made sense and not just some random painful story that couldn’t fill in the gaps. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
But yeah they should really talked. It’s really sad. But reading volume 2 in Klopp’s pov ahhh his really an ass from the start! If you need the raws of the novel, I can send you the link, but it’s only until volume 5. Couldn’t find volume 6. The English translation is up to volume 4. The translation is incredible!
This is the most fucked up shit i have read
