It’s basically the story of the two people destroying themselves, it’s really tragic.
It’s not for everyone.
It wasn’t over with Aelock’s death. Because of the nature of how Klopp chose to exact his revenge, they unknowingly imprinted on one another. Imprinting changes a person personality, this only affects an alpha, this is why Klopp’s personality became more cruel and sadistic. The imprint amplified all his negative emotions towards Aelock.
After Aelock’s death, the imprint continued to torture Klopp in a hell without Aelock, but because of their children he couldn’t kill himself. After his children left the estate with their beloved. Klopp slowly goes insane, he would hallucinate seeing light in the cabin, he would run and cry for someone who is gone.
Also Klopp incurred the hatred of his son Rafiel, who did found out about his mother’s true identity and how horrible he died at Klopp’s hands.
I continued reading this novel because I was curious about what happened after Aelock died, but got to see more honestly. I’m not into second chances, but what I found appealing was the perspective of both the partners that didn’t have the memories.
Klopp was really attracted to Aelock, it was love at first sight, but he was in denial like in the first life, so he instead find faults on Aelock. Eventually he meets Rafiel who looks like Aelock and dates him. He hated that he wasn’t loyal mentally to Rafiel.
But it makes you think, they weren’t imprinted yet in the first life, but OG Klopp repeatedly humiliated Aelock in the first life for liking him, by flaunting Rafiel and his crude comments. It’s speculation but, I think he hated his own attraction to Aelock, so he took it out on Aelock.
Aelock on the other hand. In Klopp’s regression, you could see that there was a possibility that he would have not been entangled with Klopp, if given the opportunity. First love is not last love. If given time, Og aelock could have moved forward.
Aelock of the 3rd world, avoided Klopp like the plague. Aelock pov will show you, that underneath the cold facade, he is very vulnerable. He was in his early twenties when he inherited the title and met Klopp. He was mostly lonely. He couldn’t forge any real connections because everyone sees him as Count Teiwind, not Aelock.
His is a much gentler person. His just not equipped to deal with repeated humiliation and hurt. It’s just in this life, he opted to find a prostitute instead. He also doesn’t like violence as well, he reprimanded Klopp for excessive violence towards the bottom dwellers.
It makes you think, If OG aelock was not pushed too far. The accident would not have happen. And maybe they would have quietly separated ways…
It’s a good story, it just has too much pain. But they’ll both find love in their new lives, but each of them interpreted the opportunity differently.

Hahahahha yeah, Aeroc deserved better…. Sometimes, I’d imagine that time, when Klopp intentionally provoked Aeroc, that someone could have talked him to going to that fricking cruise. And Aeroc get to actually think about all of it… and see that Klopp was an actual ass.
It be fun to see him return after a few months or a year, and his in a better state. And he meets someone better, and forms a meaningful relationship. And Klopp watching from the sidelines, seeing Aeroc smiling sincerely at someone else. And if Aeroc does turn into an omega again, with or without the count title, he’d find happiness.
I just let that scenario run in my head. I love ITRG… but Klopp is so hard to like hahahah.
Problem w this story is that it is not like it is tragedic in a heart hurting way where at the end you can say "it was a good hurt". This story just makes you feel terrible and drops your moods after reading. Honestly ruined my day.
