Pls, is the whole premise that she doesn’t care how others see her, that every single woman who was into the male lead was superficial, that it basically culminates to she’s “not like the other girls,” ? That she’s different because she’s tomboyish???

how did you even manage to come to that conclusion, im genuinely curious? because ive been reading it and the way i see it, it's more about her working through her own anxieties around how she looks and how people see her, and being able to find joy in being able to have experiences that are EXACTLY like those of other girls her age.
she's different from the male lead's "usual type" (because they brought it up) because she's the first person he's ever had proper feelings for. her being "tomboyish" has nothing to do with anything - not that she's tomboyish at all????
you don't have to read or even like it, but can you at least not misinterpret it in bad faith?

Oooofff, my impression was based on the one chapter from his perspective. That was the only one I read. But I saw the majority in the comments absolutely loving it so I just wanted to know if my impression was correct or not (since I’m pretty sure it can’t be what I thought since so many love it), I did enjoy Lonely planet (though it was also rife with shoujo tropes, not to mention the horrendous age gap) so I didn’t think my impression was correct. Sorry if it came across as disrespectful, but if you do read that one chapter from the mmc’s perspective you will see how I got this impression.
