I think they tried that but since the killer is npc they can't take off the bag until they discover all the truth and all the routes (it is just my guess tho)
He tried to in the torture chapter but commented on how it wouldn’t come off <3
ohhh okay thank you! also, Is it not possible to detain the killer instead of killing him over and over? To help better search everything without the killer getting in the way? Sorry I skipped a lot of the dialogue explaining the game
