Ok, I’ll admit I haven’t really read this one, bit I wanted to leave my reply on this particular response because it resonated with me. When I was 15, my cousin came to live with us (she’s a year older). I was going through some stuff plus just being a teenager, but needless to say, I didn’t take it all that well that she was there. I felt like she was invading my space (she wasn’t, besides her being physically there). So, like I said, I haven’t read this so I don’t really know the dynamics, but if older brother was mean to younger brother when they were teens, it’s not all that far-fetched especially if it was a remarriage type of situation. Yes, it doesn’t justify the older brother being an a-hole, but teenagers are not good at controlling their emotions and it definitely does not merit being hypnotized and raped as revenge for acting like most teens would if they suddenly were thrown into a blended family situation.
