Don't act like I know you? But you KNOW fujoshis are bad because we fetishize gay men? Everyone says it, so it must be true? You know don't know me or every fujoshi out there. I am extremely supportive of the LGBT community. I have been called a dike and a faggot for attending pride rallies and protests even though I'm straight. So this whole '"treat them with respect " argument is BS. I DO treat gay men with respect. And yet here is the very community I have fought for disrespecting me just because I call myself a fujoshi. You don't see yourself as gender, therefore you ARE genderless. And you expect people to respect your nouns. I am a fujoshi but I KNOW I don't fetishize gay men. Therefore I expect people not to insult me or spread misinformation or a "bad reputation" about me and my kind. It's that simple.

Bby, you ATE!! The western had fucked up a lot of Japanese words with their mistranslation and adding bullshit to it but I love how you gave them facts. If they just did some accurate research and not follow a whole bandwagon of ppl who are WRONG, they would know why we’re proud to be fujoshis/fudanshis

The fact that I have somehow been made out to be the bad guy in a story where I was actually the victim just proves that people on this site are opposed to straight women being into yaoi, period. you completely ignored the fact that I was at a rally to fight for the rights of the LGBTQ community and honed in right into the bad words. Me saying those words had nothing to do with MY beliefs, it was about telling a story accurately.

was that a genuine question?? I thought I was pretty blunt seeing as people in that category dont have a lot of good rep. Any obsession with relationships involving the opposite sex isnt good lol. For your information, I haven't actually read this yet, Im interested since its completed and happened to read your comment. And yes, I do believe I have a position to talk as much shit as I would like :)

talk about baby rage.
First off, not a man! Secondly, are you just invalidating the fact that gay men don't wish to be fetishized simply because they're men?? I have no huge problem with people wanting to watch and read LGBTQ stories while being the opposite sex of the couple, whatever. It's when it spills over that I have a discomfort with it. Third, your not disgusting for enjoying a good manhwa with a gay lead couple who maybe happen to have sex every 5 chapters. Just don't let it spill over into the real world and have expectations for genuine gay men.

Thank you for saying that. Knowing that at least one person was willing to even TRY to see it from someone else's perspective without letting prejudice and stigma cloud their judgment is nice. But it makes me sad that the LGBTQ community, who themselves are judged and ridiculed by society as a whole for being weird, out of the norm, abnormal (their words, NOT MINE) is so quick to judge others just because they don't understand us. Someone literally said to me that by calling myself a fujoshi, I had announced to everyone that I was "A disgusting person who fetishizes gay men" A disgusting person, really!? Not very understanding of people who have been called that themselves.

Apparently, we are insensitive, anti LGBTQ freaks who "fetishize" and "dehumanize" gay men. The ironic part is, I just read an article that says fujoshis may be the ones who actually created BL/yaoi. Since there really wasn't any BL available back in the day (2000's), women on chat sites, like 2channel, started shipping male characters from existing work and they started writing their own fan fiction, you know, DJ. But they felt guilty that they were forming relationships between characters whose sexuality were not actually specified in the stories. That is why they gave themselves the self deprecating name "fujoshi". Which at th time actually didnt even mean " rotten girl" it meant something else and was later redefined by shocker, straight men, who didnt approve of women reading porn, much less gay porn. So, to solve the problem of the guilt and supply their needs, female authors started writing original works with the male characters actually being romantically involved. That way fujoshis wouldn't have to imagine characters being together and feeling guilty for it. Then BL started gaining tons of popularity and made it's way into main stream. The irony is that clearly, yaoi was written BY women, specifically self proclaimed fujoshis no less, FOR women. So anyone on this site or anywhere who has a problem with fujoshis, needs to either get over it because they have fujoshis to thank for having BL/yaoi at all or they need to stop being hypocrites and stop reading yaoi.
OMG those little future fujoshi's in chapter 67 where so cute! I love how they were fighting for his rights!
