you summed up my emotions PERFECTLY like why did they erase masumi being a lesbian?? but yes a very genuine manga that made me think! I just wish they did the afterword better
Like everyone else I thought the ending was rushed and a bit unsatisfying. I really hoped the author would've showed more on Tachi and Touma getting together. Masumi felt like she was thrown aside half way, never really expanding on her nor her relationship with Futaba. Also, seeing her end up with a man made me feel like my head was gonna explode!!! She repressed her feelings and attraction to girls, while also dating multiple men but feeling nothing for them no matter how great they were. Just didn't feel right, since it had been implied she was a lesbian, and I really had thought she was and expected that she'd end up with a woman. It felt so well written at times and then at others a bit sloppy, you could tell who were the favorites and who weren't. Despite all this the messages conveyed touched me, and made me realize things I hadn't before. It made me want to be more genuine and aware of my relationships with others. The art was beautiful as well, the emotions were so well drawn. Certain panels were obviously given more time and attention at times which really added to the moment.
