Not only that, he's supposed to be a famous actor, so who even trust people that fast when you could very well be approached by a stalker or a crazed fan?
also imagine being an adult and literally some random dude approached you like, "hey btw i'm your friend's new assistant that he didn't tell you about! he also didn't inform you i'll be picking you up, but please get in the car :) let me give you a totally non-suspicious beverage the moment you get in the car because that's such normal driver behavior."
this series got me laughing so much it's the only one i'll keep reading regardless of plotholes for the sheer drama of it all haha
