Real parents (good ones at least) would try to correct their child if they notice something wrong like that, not give up and look for a replacement. This mom is completely incapable of understanding what responsibility is since she's been sheltered in a glass greenhouse her entire life. She is exactly the type of person who should never have kids because they can't handle the responsibility that comes with having near-total control over shaping another human's mind and future. She's so naive I find it hard to believe she knows how babies are made despite having given birth to one herself.
