That sucks…

I was so looking forward to them becoming intimate again and honestly, didn’t like it. It still felt like Nakwon forcing it. Mokhwa never consented; in fact, he looked scared and in pain. Nakwon just covered that and proceeded by saying “I love you.” Mokhwa clearly has never had a relationship like this and Nakwon capitalized on that naïveté.

Not stoked about how this went.

Yeh something felt really off, but i think the ending monologue kinda made me feel a bit better abt it

I totally agree with what you said, but then again it felt very in character for Nakwon. He can’t just turn from asshole to saint, which we may not like, but is more realistic. I believe in season 3 he will make Actual progress in that regard

Ending monologue definitely helped… but idk usually I’m ready for angst to be tf over but in this case Nakwon needed to suffer in his unrequited love for longer.

Im pretty sure Mokwha was ok with it. Like come on, bro could've pushed the guy away whenever he wanted, but he chose not to.

He could’ve pushed him off the first time, too. Physical strength has never been in question; it’s his psyche that’s been dominated and forced into submission. He references that, as well.

The reason he didn't push Nakwon(?) off the first time was because he was curious and wanted to make sure about Nakwon's intentions first. And Mokwha has grown up from that maybe not from other people

I WASN'T DONE TYPING HELP.... heres the full statement. The reason he didn't push Nakwon(?) off the first time was because he was curious and wanted to make sure about Nakwon's intentions first. And Mokwha has grown up from that and knows how to stand up for himself. Did you not read the chapter where he got pissed at Nakwon? lol. Maybe his body would end up in submission with other people, but clearly he and Nakwon has formed a bond so he trusted him and let him continue.

I get that, the fact remains, Nakwon raped him, he was his literal abuser. I’m just a big fan of informed, direct consent. Especially in a situation where he was literally raped by the person in their first sexual interaction.

Author could’ve done a lot more to illustrate Mokhwa’s consent. Using “I love you” as a tactic to subdue and “ease” the other person is common and manipulative.

Btw. I say this and I love Nakwon and Mokhwa’s relationship. Just the way this was done was very ick and not consensual (there’s really no argument here, he never said he wanted it and he didn’t initiate so boom, equals no consent).

I get what your trying to say, but I feel like Mokwha not saying anything in the situation felt more suited because of his character.
