reality of what? Every manwha? I am talking about manhwa not real life. I'm old enough to know that there are kids that get abuse around the world.

well, Asian parents tend to be very abusive, even if this is too much.

its pretty common the abusive pat in korean stories, because that give dimension to the caracther... if you dont have a sad background, well you are too normal to be a protagonist...

I hear a korean vloger one time said that korean culture its all about love hard and hate hard, not soft points in between... and they are very revengefull too, so, if you are going to write a comic to appeal korean readers, you have to put the sad trial there so they can feel that pasion in the story, otherelse they are gonna get bored by the storyline very soon.
