She’s actually the Duke’s niece and the twin’s cousin. Her biological mum, Catherine, is the younger sister of Duchess Irene. That’s why she and Duchess Irene look so similar. Bio mum ran away when she was young. Ravien is Esther’s half sister. That’s why she becomes the saint even tho it was meant to be someone from the Duke Brion family. Everyone thought Ravien was the only child of the Duke, but he had an affair with Catherine. Also Ravien is the one to turn back time and make Esther relive her life 15 times. She just wants Esther to suffer. She probably did this cause she was jealous that Esther is the true saint and she’s the fake.

The Duke found about Esther is his niece cause he went to slums where Esther was originally from before she taken in by the temple. There he find someone had a familiar locket that used to belong to Esther, after he looked at the portrait of Irene and Catherine, he realised the necklace belonged to Catherine and that Esther was her daughter. The Duke was looking for a guy called Lucifer who sold Esther when she was a baby to the slums.

So at the end does Duke Brion claimed Esther after knowing she is the true saint? I need a spoiler
