I really hate how his father is now trying to act like a father to him when he finally told him about not wanting to pursue the throne like the moment Ettienne’s father realized he wasn’t a threat to Rishar’s succession that’s where he realized he should’ve been a better father v HT that’s far too late for him to be able to redeem himself so I do hope he suffers the consequences and Ettienne doesn’t forgive him that easily
