What I understood from chapter 110 and 112 is that it seems the king(where Esther was from) was the one who started the war and not the other kingdom(I forgot the name of the countries ) and after Esther's country lost the war her country became a vessel state.
Well at least that what seems to be the case after trying to understand the translations
I think I remember reading somewhere that Janasger's King was playing the long game (or whatever it is spelled because I forgot due to MTLs lol). The king of Esther's country was known to be impulsive and cruel from beforehand and Janasger's King still sent his own sister as a marriage hostage so that when something happens to her, he can use that as prospect to declare a war which he ultimately did at the end. That's why the queen never really asked for help despite the domestic violence, she didn't have anyone to rely on.

I know as plebs I don't care about who is in power as long as my country is prosperous, so I understand not hating them but adoring them and acting like it's nothing rings a bit strange too.
Like idk, take the old Spanish empire and latin America for example. I think they brought over a lot of culture and probably improved their level of life(yk, no human sacrifices and all that) but there was still so much injustice. Idk, maybe it's not a fair comparison on my part.
I don't even understand why they started taking over.
