read the original comment. the artist was exposed for drawing child porn and that's why this webtoon was cancelled. the ARTIST and the AUTHOR are two different people just to clarify it was the ARTIST that drew the child porn. but yeah there is a novel written by the author that's what this webtoon was based on but yeah it's cancelled now.
It's the author of Blind Play, another BL manhwa. The previous comments says it all but I just want to clarify that YD is not related to Dear Benjamin in any way.

It was a legal reader who exposed the artist, but they exposed the artist a few months before the yd fiasco. the tweet the exposer made just didn't get much attention, not until the artist kept on tweeting about illegal readers which happened around yd issue.
I guess if the drama with YD back in 2021 did not happen, I think this webtoon will still.be running, iam saying this because, when the drama was going on, not only YD but so many authors were angry and reporting this website and illegal scan group and the artist of Dear Benjamin also exposed the scan group that were translating the webtoon ( Fuji melon squad) so I guess a member of the scan group or someone got angry and started finding a way to get back at the artist, that's when they found out that the artist drew shota of Exo and from there it got cancelled. Its sad but I really liked this webtoon, not only the story and art but also it was a unique omega verse very different form the common omega verse story
