Like sometimes, trauma in one of the MC is only there for convenience? Like they have panic attacks so the ml can save them or whatever happens to them just plays into why the ml is so great or whatever (I'm not sure if that made sense) but in the case of this mahwa Shinwoo's trauma( more like abandonment issues) do not help move the plot forward in a traditional sense, and since instead of pushing him towards the seme it's holding him back, everyone is shitting on him for being 'whiny' and now bc the ex warned him they're shitting on the ex too

Ah i see. That’s so weird. They hate what i like about this manhwa. the characters were realistic. No one was perfect. Shin woo is insecure and timid. Han is a selfish ass. Even the child neglect and emotional abuse was realistic (sad world we have).
This story we’ll be one of my favorites if it focuses on their growth. Shin woo knowing his value and loving himself more and Han learns to be considerate. I’m not even asking him to learn to be kind to others i just want him to at least think how his actions can make others feel not just Shin woo.
It just really drives to me how people with mental health issues might think. Shin woo has a desire to live (shown by his preference to reject people who is likely to hurt him and trigger him) but circumstances just won’t give him a break. Not everyone around him is bad but the people that he loves and values are the ones who are bad
it's the same advice from ML's grandpa.. not to let ML call all the shots.
