Yuuri was DRUNK. And the end wasn't solely fanservice, that was where Viktor FELL IN LOVE, if you don't remember, and that was where Yuuri asked Viktor to be his coach. The ending had more meaning than you're giving it credit for. It wasn't even close to regular fanservice. It also explained why Viktor and Chris were so touchy with Yuuri.
Don't mean to be rude but it wasn't fanservice at all. It showed the bolder drunken side of Yuuri, and I don't see what's wrong with that. It was FUNNY, not fanservice.

I think so too but some people see it in different way. It's funny because I'm used to see naked man (that's why I'm here lol) but it might be different with people who are not into yaoi/shonen ai. And wow I don't think the last part is fan service at all because I finally know the reason why viktor wanted to be yuri coach and how viktor fell in love with yuri. That's fricking sweet

I agree with Ellie844 on this one. None of the ending scene was fan service at all, Christopher's pole dancing was not really out of character remember when he came twice while performing in the cup of china? As for Yuri's dancing well he was drunk and just like he said he and his dad are the same whenever they drank too much alcohol -they become wild -. Yuri's dry humping Viktor while drunk and asking V to become his coach was the start of all these amazingness so i dont really think someone will just drop the anime because of what the creator reveal on this episode. If i would say, this anime has the most natural way of developing relationships between its character. Nothing was forced at all after all this is a sports Anime that shows every fans the struggles and challenges each competitors experiences and it just so happens that the show has hot men being men and the MC is now engaged to another man.

Ah you are right probably I just surprised my friend left suddenly and said the fanservice is too much. And tried to put myself on his shoes thought, I kinda feel it.
What do you think guys... Lol.
So I have a best friend, a male, he is not homophobic nor a fans of yaoi and we often watch YOI together he has been watching it from episode 1. So far he thinks vikturi is a sweet couple bc he 'aww-ing' when yuri explained why he was so nervous and 'yo they finally kissed!!' in episode 7 and damn he was smiling when viktor and yuri met again at the airport. Up until the episode 10 he was kinda surprised about how far YOI could be by exchanging 'engagement ring' but he was totally okay by it because he knew vikturi feeling is mutual. I'm so happy he can finally see that yaoi/shonen ai is not all about fanservice and stuffs but there's also a sweet, honest, meaningful relationship on it.
oh BUT!!! :(
when there's Chris and yuri pole dance scene he rolled his eyes, left the computer and refused to watch it again. I thought he kinda traumatized lol :') I knew he genuinely liked this anime but I don't know if he'd watch it again!!!! :(
Honestly guys somehow I prefer yoi without too much fanservice because I TRULY THINK YOI IS ONE AWESOME ANIME, I REALLY DO and I love when anyone can enjoy it regardless that not everyone into yaoi/shonen ai and some of them can gradually change their mind by watching it. :'3 I hope YOI won't lose some of its fans because they can handle episode 10 because this anime is soo good and such a waste to drop it out because of the fanservice :'3 nah!
