So basically Eclis brings back the real sister instead of winter so that he could get Penelope kicked out of the mansion and manipulate her to depend on him and only him. He doesn't love her romantically, he is only obsessed with her.
After this, Penelope ends up poisoning herself as suicide or she got poisoned by someone else. I've forgotten which it was (Im pretty sure she poisoned herself because she was tired of it all, but someone can correct me), but she obviously doesnt end up dying thankfully.

So now I understand why the gauges are different colors... They represent the type of love they have. Eclis's dirty crimson is obsession.

I'm not really sure about others, but the prince's "danger sign" (lol) red is obviously romantic or passionate love, I'm sure. Then pink is probably pure innocent sibling love. But I don't know about other two. My guess is that Vinter's maybe is the type of idealizing love? Like when you fall in love from afar and only see the idealized version of that person, but you're not really interested in pursuing it? Like you love the image you have of that person in your mind? Or maybe like admiration, like when we love our favorite idol, but we don't really want to date them.

Maybe someone will spoil it and tell us, because I really wanna know if my theory's right.
