Just because something is “straight” doesn’t make it inherently fetishized content…. Also why you putting words into people’s mouths. I never said gay media is guilty of fetishization while straight media isn’t. Both media are often heavily fetishized, it’s rooted in the nature of capitalism and how stories sell.
What I’m trying to say is YOU’RE the one fetishizing gay people.
Please note that being gay does not mean you are unable to fetishize homosexual media, straight people often fetishize straight media as you said.
All that being said, I think you might find it beneficial to seek help and figure out why you’re so defensive over this.

If you are supporting bl then I assume you also support lgbt+ community also. So here also we have characters who have different sexual orientation. And there's no such rules that bl and gl should have gay and lesbian couples only respectively.
