Well, we also have volume 6 “If story” its a continuation of volume 1. From what I learned, Rayfiel learns about Aelock from the butler “Hugo.” If you read vol 2, you’ll see glimpses of Rayfiel arguing with his dad about Aelock.
Some people have think that maybe vol 2-3 is just a dream, Aelock was happily dreaming before he died. Well, Aelock does think of his regression as a happy dream, in this world where Klopp loves him and everything is different, the sad part is Aelock always goes back inside of the cabin when he sleeps. Aelock always tells himself that one day, this happy dream will end.
Klopp on the other hand thought he was experiencing hell. Seeing Aelock again, but this Aelock doesn’t remember him and dislikes him. He keeps dropping hints of the past, but Aelock remained clueless. And this Aelock continually rejects Klopp, while his Og Aelock would do anything for an ounce of any affection. He is also afraid that he might hurt or ruin this Aelock, but couldn’t help but look for the one he ruined.
Klopp did find love in this world, but it wasn’t the love he wanted, it was a happy life wrapped in a beautiful lie… because he would never truly find happiness or peace in this hell.

He does… I really think his regression is more of a ‘screw you’ from the author.

I hope S2 and 3 aren't just dreams though, because Aelock deserves so much to have another chance and a happy life after all what he endured. And we need to have another closure than the horrible S1
It’s a speculation for others. Aelock does think that’s it’s a dream, which is sad, because after all of that. He deserves to find happiness.
Actually i like the tragic ending, in my opinion having 2nd and 3rd seasons kinda ruin the main story (saw the spoilers on comments that they will get better ending in alternate universe)
