Absolutely not. This is what you call pacing. As a writer and reader myself I had read way to many stories and mahwas etc and when we say slow burn then we are talking about not of an inch of interaction between the two mc. But here we got there first meeting, so right now we are in pacing phase. Because imagine if this all stuff was forgotten and we jump straight to their neighbors meeting. Werid right? That's why we need these chapters because they help as base for the stronger plot afterwards. sorry for the lecture though!
