it makes sense that it's romanticised if you consider that the whole story is from dan's pov. he is the victim of a toxic relationship and we are able to see how it's affected his mindset. what personally puts me off is how it was romanticised from the very beginning, when jaekyung had just begun exploiting dan.

i merely hope they don't get a happy ending, otherwise the manhwa is going to be another one of those dangerous stories that advocate toxicity/SA/self-objectification/lack of communication/exploitation/gaslighting and violence. jaekyung belongs in jail and dan deserves therapy.

lol if you're referring to the second chapter of the story, i doubt that was his friend. it seemed like a side kick to get off with before his competitions. however he still acted like an absolute criminal and blooded his face, then proceeded to throw some money on him i'd have used that for a lawsuit.
