That would be nice, but I think FL wants to be cautious because of what happened to her last time. Also, it's hard to tell if someone likes you and since she is from an abusive background it is even harder to perceive love and not doubt others intent.
Yeah, I was just thinking she might trust the idea of like a business-type relationship, where it’s a win win for both of them. So like a “if you let me stay here and work with you, I’ll make sure your territory prospers and we can destroy our common enemy together” rather than a “I trust you to have my back because of our relationship” type deal. Like, this isn’t the same with Jiho, where she trusted him because they were in a similar position, but a trust that’s built on the fact that both sides can contribute something to help the other. Like it’s a very cold type of reason, but I think it would be fitting for mc, who probably won’t trust people or vague concepts easily.

I totally agree that that is her perspective on their relationship and how she views trust. After all it is easier to trust yourself and what you know.

Yeah! But it makes sense for her character I think cause of her past trauma and that’s what would make it even better and cuter when the ml shows her that she can trust him with none of that involved because he loves and cherishes her!! She needs someone to cherish her and show her how important she is just as a person!
Dunno how the story will go tho lol, I hope she reveals it soon though, so they’re on the same page and she can help more proactively
I feel that now she can prove she can stay there and help them, she should just confess about how she doesn’t actually like him and actually wants revenge on her family. That way, they can start working together more and ml won’t have to be apprehensive about anything, especially since mc def has not gotten any benefits from that family
