Really? Personally I think it looks great. And they just updated the artstyle a bit but it still looks similar to the original.
Also, in case you didn't already see it while searching there's also a live-action Thai drama adaptation. I haven't watched it so I dunno if its good or not..
No wonder its getting an anime adaptation. There's so many good points I could list out from this manga but then this comment would be an essay. So I'll just mention one thing I like the most about it, Adachi's character development.
I like how his character developed from a timid loner to a more confident and self-assured person. And the change isn't sudden either, we can see him slowly improving himself over the course of this manga. He can stand up for himself when he needs to and doesn't rely on the seme to save him every time. He went from thinking nobody would love someone like him to pushing self-deprecating thoughts away and reassures himself..
