Lol, you sound like you're traumatized from Jujutsu Kaisen. Characters don't get killed in this Manga. They do get eliminated from the game and sometimes become irrelevant to the point where you barely see them. If you have a favorite character in the beginning they might not be shown as much later on. It's a really good read.

Actually not true, technically there is one death. Remember snuffy's old partner, he's the only recorded death in the manga as he overdosed on drugs and died.
I mean, yeah... but that's pre-canon and we just see it in flashbacks. he's not a regular character who we got attached to and the author killed, which is what i supposed op is asking
just asking cuz i wanna start reading this manga but i dont wanna get depressed over too much since there are too many mangakas killing their characters rn
