what I'm left wondering is that if everything went according to the story Kanna transmigrated into until the end and Sylph is the villainess of said story...why didn't she act her role as the villainess? is she a transmigrator too? if so why doesn't she remember anything?
Maybe the change is simply because sylph learnt about the wonder of reading. In a world where she didn't have her safe space she would have probably turned into a classic villainess and would have tormented the heroine.
Maybe kanna entering the world itself and befriending sylph, even if it was just to devieve her, changed the plot of the original story. I think this makes the most sense so far
It's actually kinda sad how low Kanna went, it's basically fact at this point that she was from another world (either thru transmigration, possession, reincarnation etc). She's definitely a reader, what with being able to remember enough stories to tell for a whole year, but I guess her downfall lies in her treating the world she's in, as still a story. She put too much trust in her knowledge of the plot that she forgot to remember that all stories end. What lies after the happily ever after? Nothing. And so everything the world has given to her, was taken away as well.
I really like the King's interpretation of magic as well, and how it wouldn't work in real life. It's usually used for the defeat of "evil" and to prop the hero/heroine as everything good, but that's unrealistic. There's a difference between fantasy and bad writing lol. Everything still needs to be grounded in reality in order for the magic to even make sense.
