If you read the novel, the following seasons are going to explain it, and it’s messed up. The thing is, Klopp’s revenge actually backfires on him, because it establishes an imprint between him and Aelock.
An imprint is established when you spend a long time with one omega, the sad thing is, it’s a phenomenon that occurs when a pregnant omega wants to ensure care from their alpha. And because the relationship didn’t heal, and they are always apart, the imprint was dissatisfied causing Klopp to have hallucinations and to grow more violent, it builds an anger that needs to be vented and a sacrifice is needed… which was Aelock.
The hallucinations causes Klopp in vol 1 to think that Aelock was living happily in the cabin. Moving forward with his life, while he alone was suffering. So from revenge it turned into motivation to destroy Aelock’s remaining dignity.
It doesn’t justify what happened, but it does explain a lot of things. The story is a lot deeper… as the following volumes reveal a lot of things. It’s an interesting take on omegaverse, but it’s just really tragic.
In season 2 this is more explained. It didn’t end with Aelock’s death, the same imprint is tormenting Klopp with hallucinations of Aelock. He sees a light in the cabin. And like a madman, he would run towards the cabin and cry calling out for someone gone.
If you’re interested the novel is at Knoxt s2 is vol 2 start with ‘all again’ it’s not going to be tragic like volume 1. It will be more about Aelock’s healing. It’s Aelock’s regression, so only he remembers.
To not be confused, both OG characters from book 1 will experience regression, but meet the same partners without memories. Both OG’s won’t be meeting each other anymore.

No, they were really young during season 1. There eldest Rayfiel was around four or six.. i think during that time he met Aelock.
But in volume 2, it was shown in a dream that Rayfiel their eldest son did find out about Aelock and argued with Klopp about it. It was a really sad scene.
Rayfiel told Klopp that if he wanted to name him after his mother, he should have named him Aelock. He discards the name and declares that he won’t be coming back to the estate where his mother died so tragically.
The manhwa was really hard to read…I can’t blame you. I couldn’t finish volume 1 of the novel in one go, I needed constant breaks after a chapter.
But volume 2 onwards was a breeze. It’s a lot lighter and had a lot more comedic moments, and even if there was drama it wasn’t painful to read. Manhwa s2 is also out, but it’s not translated yet. Hope you give it a shot!
