I like both MLs, they’d both treat her like she’s the center of their universe for different reasons. From how FL described Richard in the OG storyline he’s a yundere like his father. They can be obsessive and on the more extreme side neither the object of their affection or the ones who actually harm or perceived harmed them are safe. Richard is on the obsessive side while at the same time not wanting to be hated would keep him in check. No one else matters quite as much as someone who accepts him fully and doesn’t discriminate based on being able to use magic.
