I completely agree with this, everyone is saying that they like to see Jaehyuk suffer for what he has done. But realistically they’re both adults who have feelings for each other and can either talk it out or go their separate ways and Jaehyuk is trying to make up with Yeonho, while Yeonho is dragging it out and avoiding Jaehyuk and just taking longer and avoiding the problem. Call it a chasing arc, in my opinion it’s a bit immature to want to have someone to chase you for so long even after clearly seeing as how they and their feelings have changed. Yes Yeonho did suffer, but he also has a choice not to speak and be with Jaehyuk he’s not being forced on these dates or outtings if you want to see him as a victim, he’s doing these dates willingly.
Fuck nah, Yeon-Oh deserves the respect of being chased and spoiled by the man who raped him instead of helping him and abandoned him.
even if u look at it from a writers perspective, it’s not a good story to make yeonoh submit so easily after literally 60 chapters of being abused by every guy he’s met. you guys cant even read five chapters of a rapist and abuser trying to redeem himself and be the one chasing it’s absurd
I can agree the rape is bad but we need to remember that YO agreed to be sponsored as long as he does his task. He also knew it was going to entail some level of sexual engagement with the sponsor and he CHOSE to lie about his sexual experience (leading to whatever bodily pain he got). They BOTH were bad communicators, hid things and changed the terms of their agreement. I'm not saying the sexual assault is justified, but we can't just blame JH for the shitty things other people did. He didn't make the shitty dad gamble or risk death by greed and he didn't ask those guys to rape YO either. In fact, JH was already helping out YO when his colleagues were being terrible to him.
My point is that I'm annoyed that people are just one-sidedly supporting YO like he is faultless. And why are we blaming JH for things that YO knew the risks to? Why are forgetting that JH also showed a lot of kindness to YO? All I'm saying is that they are BOTH not faultless. These are adults who made decisions and should be responsible for some of those outcomes.
Getting a little annoyed with how slow the pace is and how the MC is dragging/brooding. Both of you are adults who did some not so great things and didn't truly honour the deal. Just lighten up a little and accept that the ML has changed and is putting in the effort. Not all sugar babies are eating this good.
