If you're talking about the early chapter it's bc she knew he'd bring the ivonne on her coming of age ceremony and later it's because before they save the children he tests her and she feels betrayed as she trusted him, but If I understand your question right I think it's because her knight Eclis is easier choice rather than him and at first she wanted to use vinter as a safe person but after meeting him she realized she couldn't feel safe with him so removed him

Can someone explain the chapter where penelope fist met vinter as the magician with his mask? What was the reason she removed him from the list (potential lover yk)? Like what did he say? I know it has something to do with ivonne (the real princess) but I didn’t understand the translation. But please no spoilers I‘m at chapter 133.
