I guess I do understand the cheating scene (not really cheating) but I wish they just fleshed out the side couple development a little more. It felt like they were already together.
It looked like Hu and Berry were on some sort of break judging by the awkwardness around their reunion, so I don't think it was cheating on either part. It also seems like both were struggling to see the demons as people and process that they could be in proper relationships with them especially when the thing that ties them is a contract that allows them to be used. I don't think it was unnecessary for the two humans to try to explore when they technically were both single/not officially in relationships, especially if they thought maybe each had hidden feelings for each other.
Mm yea I can see that. That's why I don't think it was really cheating either. I wanted see more of the development between hu and berry though ;^;
SAME ACTUALLY I think bc it was their first story they may have just wanted to dip their toes with something short but it had SO much potential for a lot more
It was cute and all but I feel like the creep and the rape stuff didn't bring much to the plot if I'm honest especially since he was just defeated that fast and that was it, also I found that almost cheating scene to be unnecessary since the guy already has his police incubus so why go after him?
Also they brought up how detrimental being with an incubus can be and I never really understood how that was solved... they just said stuff like their stamina would recover and such but I feel like it was just resolved too easily. Idk if I'm the only one who felt that way though
Also side couple is cute I wish they had more of them qwq
