You should read the rest of the novel. Season 2 or volume 2 is not as heavy or tragic as season 1. As you read the other novels, you’ll get the answer to what the major factors that caused the tragedy of book 1 and its heartbreaking.

I've never sobbed this hard reading any yaoi content, ever! I can't stop crying... I can't be the only one questioning their feelings, and not knowing who to have sympathy for.. but I'll speak my honest truth. Aelock fcked up, and theres no justifying his mistake or decision, but he did not deserve that kind of suffering... for YEARS.. violated and raped almost every day, beaten half to death, used like a breeding machine and then tossed aside like trash.. I couldn't stop crying!!! I felt such deep sorrow and pain fir what he was being put through.. i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. SUCH CRUELTY... Klopp is a fcking monster!!
Aelock grew up with a father that traumatized him over some fcking tears! for having and showing emotions! so much that he physically became incapable of doing so. He was like a robot that even the very end he didn't fully understand the situation he was in and remained delusioned by his love for klopp... There's literally so much to unpack here but I'm too sad to write any more right now..... him and Rafiel were both victims! klopp is the fcking monster!
