It's probably because sometimes official English translations for manhwas give characters bad names just because fans already use one possible romanization of the names in fan translations of the novel and/or manhwa.
I honestly like the name Franz the best.
from the english scans, i thought plants was supposed to be franz but now that i checked the hangul used for them i think it's "blanche" and the dad's "romane"? but the character used in plant's name is "P" (not "B" even though there's a character for it) which is used sometimes to replace "F" in english words. and also both are considered feminine names lol
maybe it doesn't matter and the author just liked how it sounded or i'm unaware of the names the author thought of ╮(￣▽￣)╭
