He was never there for her or her mother and instead was straight up just trash. Mf was mad that his wife SMILED at a dude and immediately thought she cheated. I think in normal circumstances she wouldn't care but it's more of the fact that she thinks "her boyfriend" killed someone (even though that someone turned out to be her abuser etc etc), esp when sihyun didn't deny that he did it. So it's more of the guilt that she thought her father died because her her boyfriend, which was someone whom she trusted a lot iykwim
