Not smitten with the ML. But MC is a pushover, squishy guy. I wrote an at length analysis last week (with up to date ch. 7) so no. I'm not whitewashing him anything.
ML didn't really had to act like such a bitch when clearing that MC was just a fwb for him smh. MC was obviously in love with him and ML was always so nice to him so it's natural he thought they were dating but instead he was shamed for having normal human emotions.
ML did dropped a major hint when he said he was "glad" that MC was not an omega which obviously hinted that he was not looking for anything serious and fucking a beta was convenient as they don’t get pregnant but MC was naive and blinded by love, like any other normal teenager growing up.
I am so glad that the MC just left his ass and never informed him about their child or anything because why should he? Rather stay single than being with a someone who doesn't even love you. And I hope he still have a backbone to stand up for himself in the future episodes and not act like some animal controlled by pheromones. I want him to be strong and powerful or I will lose interest.
