totally agree with both of these points but then again i guess we have to remember that most authors who write bl are women so they only know the basics of gay sex and not how it actually works. It does make me frustrated as a bisexual guy myself reading sex scenes though because it’s just like that’s not how it works at all!
This isn't how it even works for women. You need to tease and either get a woman wet first or use lube before entering her. This isn't how it works for any penetrative sex regardless of gender/sex
